GAP is an organization of individuals whose professional responsibilities are to affect public policy. WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR MEMBERSHIP? Membership in GAP is open to those individuals who are actively engaged in lobbying, government affairs or related activities. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: lobbying, PAC administration, legislative and regulatory representation, issues management, monitoring and analysis of public policy issues, community relations or public affairs. GAP members serve in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in manufacturing and service corporations, financial institutions, health care agencies, national state and local trade associations, law firms and various government agencies.
